Since the early 1980s, I have been designing, inventing, and contributing to the creation of such doll and toy lines as Rainbow Brite, Popples, Jem, Moondreamers, Maxie, Dolly Surprise, Cupcakes, Cabbage Patch Kids, WWF Wrestling Buddies, Sky Dancers, Barbie, Winnie the Pooh, and so many more.
I was both an in-house designer as well as a freelancer, so I have had a myriad of experiences working with many talented people, and for many wonderful toy companies.
I'm sure you'll love reading an insider's view of the world of toy design and creation. The 1st edition had 56 pages and 196 images. This "Twice as Fun" edition has 484 images.

Just finished reading this very well written and interesting book by @stefdesignstoys. First of all, the fact that I knew and cared little for most of these brands before I opened it didn’t cause a problem at all, and now my poor poor wallet will be forced to start getting a few of the things I read about (I’m talking about YOU Dolli Lama!!). And second, the main reason I loved the book is that the author flawlessly blended her life story with the history behind the toys that she designed. Two swivel arm battle grip thumbs up, and if I had three hands it would be three! But alas, I’m not Arex.
